Cofas Hoiva RY is a community based movement dedicated to passionately serve. We are known for our strong commitment to empower local women to speak out against Gender Based Violence which is a barrier to sustainable community development.

We build the capacity of local citizens to effectively prevent and respond to Gender Based Violence in all its forms.

African Academic Night Event

Companies, educational institutions and the Finnish academic community of African descent met on Saturday 28.10 in Turku at the African Academic Night event. Elizabeth Mökkönen presented her own care company: Cofas Hoiva Oy at the Learning Cafe organised by Finnpartnership.
Africa is a huge market for a growing customer base. There is huge untapped potential in Finland’s academic people of African descent. They have in their hands the so-called. tickets to future growth.

Kumppanuudessa project´s capacity building training

During the training participants shared insights and advanced their know-how on community organizing, alliance building, practicing strategic campaigning, and acquired new knowledge to support community wellbeing. The training had stake holders from across a wide range of disciplines.
