Jessica Lisamba Masira is currently pursuing a PhD – Planning at Maseno University and a part time Lecture in the same institution, teaching Participatory Planning and action and Project Monitoring and Evaluation. Jessica holds a MSc.–International Development Andrews University Michigan USA, a BSc. Agriculture and Home Economics (Egerton University Kenya), and a certificate in projects Management in the Agricultural sector (Nordic Agricultural College Denmark.) ,Certificate  in  appropriate technologies for rural women-Greece.

Jessica Has over 25 years’ experience in Development .and Relief Jessica worked as Team Leader/ Cluster Manager for the UN-Millennium Villages project Sauri- Kenya for 8 years as well as the Community Development Coordinator and Deputy Team Leader for Implementation of MDGs on the same project for 5 years. Jessica worked as the Health and Nutrition coordinator in USAID Title II project, and Deputy Project Director on the same for ADRA –Kenya in Eastern Kenya. Jessica has worked as the Monitoring and Evaluation officer on a WFP/ADRA –Kenya on Kenya Emergency Operations project and as a Development Coordinator- ADRA KENYA Food security project for seven years. Jessica has worked for the government of Kenya as the District Home –Economics and Youth officer, (Ministry of Agriculture Livestock Development and Marketing), Development for 10 years.
